Sure, the build quality is first class, but that's not it - others may boast the same (and others can't!) Simply, they went the extra mile, and to me that matters. A constant stream of e-mails with the umpteenth site picture, knowing they are listening to you, not just hearing you and more importantly will act on it. And well, when my slipped disc decided to slip some more, Claire closed the office, drove me to a therapist, waited, brought me back, repeated this over three consecutive days and refused any payment. "We first thought about buying a property abroad 18 months ago. After hours of research we decided to choose Turkey. There were several reasons but the two main ones were that Turkey is low-priced compared to most other European countries and secondly the prediction that in 2015 Turkey would be granted full EU membership status making it the ideal investment opportunity. My wife and i had been looking for a place overseas for a while, we decided to look at Turkey, i am glad we did. We contacted a company in the UK called Turkey Property UK who arranged a veiwing tour through Sunmed Homes in Fethyie, we had never been to this area before, we were not disappointed. We arrived on the Monday and Claire met us at the hotel and ran through a few things with us and left us with a portfolio of Apts anf Villas, we met up the next day and went to look at some Apts, i was probably looking for something offplan so Claire took us to to this field with a half dozen goats grazing away and explained what the development was going to look like when it was complete, Birol one of the developers was also onsite and he explained everything in detail. Gill and i went back to our hotel to discuss the way ahead, lets face it, it is a big step, we didnt sleep much that night, we met Claire the next morning and let her know that we decided to go for it, Claire then set the wheels in motion for all the legal side of it, we were more than a bit worried about the speed of which things were happening but i can now assure you that this is normal for Turkey and there is nothing to worry about. The Notary, lawers involved were very professional in the handling of out business. The building started approx Dec 05, Claire kept us uo to date and well informed with more than regular Emails and most important of all photos with progress from the foundations right up until we moved in to the Apt. We went acreoss at the start of July, a few days in a hotel then we moved into the apartment. We could not believe the standard that the Apt was finished to, fitted kitchen, marble stairs, gardens and pool area, too many things to mention,what must be mentioned is the actual standard of the building construction itself, it probably exceeds the Regs of the UK. My wife Gill and i cannot praise Claire and her staff enough for all the help that they have given us, a special mention must go to one of Claires staff, a lady called Vicky, she helped us with all our shopping and furnishings of the Apt, she was a godsend,she speaks the language well and says that her hobby is spending other peoples money. Last but not least all i can say is if you have any doubts, as you will, dont worry,just let Sunmed Homes, Claire and her staff look after you and make your dream come true as they did for us.
